It has been a month...and I'm finally making time to update the blog. "Finding" time to do it just doesn't exist, because there isn't time to find with two kids. We blessed Michael on March 14th with Brian's family and my family that were able to attend. It was a wonderful experience and Brian did a great job. It was a wonderful feeling to have our dads in the circle. Family is such a blessing and I'm so grateful that ours is eternal.
Here is Brian's dad, Brian & Michael, and my dad. Michael was named after my dad. He's so stellar! :)
And of course, who could forget Adam? Here's Adam on March 13th when we celebrated his birthday with family in town (just a week early). He blew out the candles and loved the cake! (On his real birthday, he blew out the candles on the first try!) And I really wanted to make a nice cake for him, but with a new baby and family in town and sleep deprivation...it will have to wait.
Here's my mom and dad with the boys the morning they had to fly back to Utah. I had a really hard time saying good bye...since they live so far away and we don't see each other often. After they left, I was sitting in my room, crying, and holding Michael and thought, "if it's this hard to say goodbye for a short period of time, imagine what it would be like if I really messed up and lost eternity with my family..." How wonderful that we can be together forever, and how rough would it be to not be able to be together because of poor choices.
